The Science
Research peptides, described honestly.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids — fragments of the proteins your cells are built from. As signaling molecules they are studied across a wide range of biology, and the research maturity varies enormously by compound. We group the catalog by research area and describe each one in neutral terms.
Metabolic (GLP-1 / incretin)
Active research areaIncretin-receptor agonists such as semaglutide, tirzepatide, and retatrutide are studied in metabolic-signaling, appetite, and energy-balance models. These are reference compounds for in-vitro and preclinical work only.
Recovery & tissue repair
Widely used tool compoundsBPC-157, TB-500 (thymosin β4), and KPV appear across connective-tissue, angiogenesis, and inflammation research. Evidence is largely preclinical; they are used as laboratory tool compounds, not therapeutics.
Growth-hormone axis
Established secretagoguesSecretagogues (ipamorelin) and GHRH analogs (CJC-1295, sermorelin) are standard tools in pituitary and GH-pulse research.
Neuro & nootropic
Neurotrophic modelsSemax, Selank, and Cerebrolysin are studied in neurotrophic-factor, cognition, and mood research models.
Sleep & circadian
Chronobiology modelsDSIP, Epithalon, and melatonin are used in sleep-architecture and circadian-regulation research.
Longevity & cellular
Emerging researchNAD+, MOTS-c, and SS-31 are studied in mitochondrial-function, redox, and cellular-aging models.
Immune modulation
Immunology toolsThymosin α1, Thymalin, and VIP are used in T-cell, innate-immune, and neuroimmune research.
Reproductive & melanocortin
Endocrine modelsPT-141, Kisspeptin-10, and Gonadorelin are reference peptides in reproductive-endocrine and melanocortin-signaling research.
Skin biology
Cosmetic-science researchGHK-Cu, Snap-8, and Matrixyl are studied in collagen-signaling and skin-matrix research models.
Purity is the product.
A research peptide is only as good as its identity and purity. Every Pepthea lot is third-party tested by HPLC (purity) and mass spectrometry (identity), and the certificate of analysis is published under the lot number printed on the vial. If a lot's COA isn't posted, it isn't shipping.
